We sent our CEO and Head of Production to the desert!

While rain and snow falls fiercely at Epic Minutes Studios in Salzburg, Hamburg and Tyrol, we sent our CEO and Head of Production into a contrasting climate. More specifically, Domenico Galizia found himself in the heart of the KTM Adventure Tour in Morocco. And so it was written: a round trip journey through the Atlas Mountains and across the Sahara Desert. This journey did not direct him along developed streets and manicured paths, but as it is traditional for a rally: offroad. As part of the rally team, Domenico documented the 1800km long tour, all while saddled on a 450cc machine of his own.

With experiences like this, we keep returning to the roots of Epic Minutes Production. While our film spectrum has widened massively, our DNA is still in outdoor and motorsport, and this journey has come full circle as Dom finds a home in the desert. Playing with ever-changing light, shadow, focus and sound, we are reminded that those who can do outdoors, can do it all. Add a layer of breathtaking speeds and rough terrain, and we find an exercise in sharpening our whits and our production skills. We are now back in the edit bay with the KTM Adventure Tour, riding a desk chair rather than a motorcycle. But you can relive this experience with a little taste from the POV perspective of Domenico.
